Payment Processors: If payments are enabled, your payment details are provided directly to the processor; Sure As Ship does not receive or store full card numbers. Legal & Safety: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service. This Privacy Policy explains how Sure As Ship Inc. ("Sure As Ship," "SASI," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information in connection with our websites and services (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy is meant to be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service.

1) Interpretation

When we say "we," "us," or "our" in this Privacy Policy, we mean Sure As Ship Inc. This Privacy Policy is meant to be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service.

2) Services

The services provided by Sure As Ship Inc. ("SASI") enable you to create and manage shipments, retrieve courier rate quotes, print labels, and track packages with supported couriers. SASI facilitates interactions between you and the courier(s) but does not physically transport items (we hereinafter refer to these services as the "Service").

3) Scope

This Policy applies to the Service where it links to or references this Policy. It does not apply to third-party websites or services, including couriers and payment processors, which have their own privacy practices.

4) Personal Information We Collect

The following are non-exhaustive examples of the types of data that SASI collects ("Personal Information"):

Account Information. Name, email, phone, company, and addresses you provide to register and manage an account.
Shipment & Tracking Information. Shipment details (e.g., ship-to/ship-from names and addresses, weight, dimensions), tracking events, and related courier/billing amounts necessary to operate the Service.
Support & Communications. Information you provide in tickets or communications, and essential service notifications we send you.
Technical Information. System logs, IP address, device and browser details collected to secure and operate the Service.
Calculator and Quote Inquiries. When you use our public pricing calculator, we record inquiry details (postal codes, package weight, rate shown, IP address, and your email address if you choose to provide it) to demonstrate pricing and to measure how visitors discover and convert into customers.
Payment Information. SASI does not store payment card numbers on our systems. If/when payments are enabled, such payments will be processed by a third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe) and any expectation of privacy shall be subject to that provider's privacy policy.

5) How We Use Personal Information

We use Personal Information, as outlined above, solely to operate and provide the Service, including to:

Send promotional, marketing, or product update emails to customers who have opted in to receiving them. You may opt-out at any time.
Provide support, prevent fraud, secure the Service, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not use personal information for third-party marketing or advertising, and we do not sell personal information. We do not share Personal Information with advertising networks or track information across third-party sites.

Couriers. We share shipment and necessary contact details with couriers to arrange pickup, transit, and delivery.
Service Providers. We may use vendors (e.g., hosting, email delivery, customer support tools) who process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and associated security obligations.
Payment Processors. If payments are enabled, your payment details are provided by you directly to the processor; SASI does not receive nor store full card numbers.

7) Third Party Links/Content

We use third parties, for example social media and service providers, to provide content or link to this website. We do not collect or control any information that you share through any third-party platforms. These third parties:

Are not bound by our Privacy Policy;
Have their own terms of service and privacy policies that will apply to you;
May not follow the same privacy laws or practices as SASI; and
SASI assumes no responsibility or liability when we link to third-party platforms or share their content.

SASI does not control and is not responsible for any information collected or retained by any third-party platform or service provider including services provided by SASI's service providers and/or vendors.

8) International Transfers

SASI is based in Canada; however, certain third-party service providers may process, store, or access personal information outside your Province or outside Canada. Accordingly, personal information may be transferred outside of Ontario and/or Canada ("International Transfers"), be subject to the laws of such other jurisdictions, and may be subject to review by regulatory authorities in those jurisdictions.

By using the Service, you acknowledge and expressly consent to such International Transfers and processing outside of your province and/or Canada. SASI shall take reasonable steps to ensure that any such service providers implement safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, consistent with applicable privacy laws in Ontario. SASI cannot guarantee absolute security of personal information for International Transfers.

9) Retention

Account profile data shall be kept while your account is active. Upon verified request, SASI will delete all profile data (e.g., name, email, phone, saved addresses), subject to the exceptions below.

Transaction Records. Shipment, invoice, and related records are retained by SASI in order to meet legal, tax, audit, and fraud-prevention obligations.
Refund & Cancellation Records. Cancellation requests, refund amounts, and related payment processor data are treated as part of Transaction Records and retained for the same period to ensure transparency, audit availability, and general tax and legal compliance.
Security Logs. Retained for a limited period (typically up to 12 months but actual retention period may vary) to ensure the security and integrity of the Service.

10) Your Rights & Choices

Subject to legal limitations, you may request access to or correction of your personal information, or request deletion of your profile data. You may also withdraw consent for non-essential processing; however, information that is required to provide the Service or to comply with applicable laws and regulations, will be retained by SASI.

If you make a request and are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada for guidance.

11) Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we process (for example, encryption in transit, access controls, and backups). No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12) Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use only essential cookies and similar technologies necessary to operate the Service (e.g., to keep you signed in and maintain session security). We do not use advertising cookies. We may collect anonymous statistical data, also called analytics, when you use SASI's websites. If collected, analytics are used solely for the purpose of improving SASI's online services and content.

Our servers may also collect data that helps us analyze our website traffic, trends and performance. The data may include:

names and sizes of files requested
page visits and dates and times accessed
keywords users enter into our search engine
Internet Protocol (IP) addresses of the devices used to access our websites
operating systems and internet service providers (ISPs) used by visitors

13) Privacy of Minors

The Service is intended for individuals who can enter into a binding contract. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

14) Governing Law

This Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, in Canada. Where applicable, additional rights may arise under federal Canadian privacy laws.

15) Changes to This Policy
